The COASTER Commuter Rail runs from Oceanside to downtown San Diego with at least 20 trips daily. Many stations offer connections to city buses for your convenience.
In addition, the Pacific Surfliner AMTRAK train covers even more distance, offering trips from San Diego to as far north as San Luis Obispo. This scenic train ride hugs the California coastline and offers multiple trips daily.
